PayPal Opportunity Hack 2016 is Back : Register Now

The 2016 edition of PayPal Opportunity Hackathon, Chennai is back.

“Economic Empowerment” is the overarching theme for this year’s event with specific focus on the non-profit projects that promote economic empowerment and livelihood projects for underprivileged and weaker sections of the Indian society.

During the hackathon, teams that develop the most innovative and impactful solutions will be awarded prizes totaling Rs. 2,10,000. The winning non-profit organizations will also receive vouchers for an additional Rs. 30,000 to support their community initiatives. The Opportunity Hack 2016 will be held at PayPal’s world-class Global Technology Product Center in Sholinganallur, Chennai on November 12th and 13th 2016. The last day for registration by NGOs is Friday, November 4, 2016, while developers can enroll until Friday, November 11, 2016.
