Ravishankar Arunachalam has been an active volunteer with various AID chapters in the United States. He has also served as a member of the AID Executive Board.
For the last 2 years, he has served as the Joint Secretary of AID India and has coordinated the secondary education and equitech programs of AID Tamilnadu. During the past year, he has worked tirelessly on Tsunami relief and rehabilitation programs.
Ravishankar was a an Adjunct Assistant Professor at IIT-Madras. In light of his strong commitment and involvement with this work, he has resigned his position at IIT-Madras and now works full-time with AID.
Ravishankar holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Madras and a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

She has over 10 years as a journalist and has reported on diverse areas like private equity, venture capital, start-ups, technology and pharma companies. Kripa started off by primarily covering the stock markets before moving on to other sectors.
Prior to her stint with Outlook Business, she has worked with Cholamandalam Securities and IDBI Bank performing roles as an equity research analyst and investment advisor. The initiation in writing was in her first job at Business Standard, where she wrote for the magazine's weekly edition on investing.
